Shih Tzu Dog's Urine Odor Horrifies La Jolla Home!

LA JOLLA  Just the other day I just worked for Dr. G in his tasteful custom house in La Jolla. He had enlisted Tony's Best Way to clean his Oriental and other area rugs that he had spread gorgeously throughout his home.  Dr G. had made a substantial  investment in these ultra fine rugs but there was a problem.

The Problem was a small 7 pound house guest, a  Shih Tzu dog named Sparky. Sparky, nice wonderful dog that he is, decided to leave his mark on every one of Dr G’s rugs over and over again.

As Dr G. returned back to his house one recent day, the powerful sickly sweet smell of pet urine hit him in the face as he opened up his front door.

Quickly he gave us at Tony’s Best Way a call, hoping we could remedy this stinky situation. Urine odor is tough to remove but with our custom cleaners, deodorizers and sanitizers, we went through his home rug by rug and removed Sparky’s urine odor hot spots and the subsequent stains they created.

The final result was fresh clean rugs restored to their former glory. Fresh, clean, vibrant colors...the
way the doctor's fine rugs were designed to look.

By the way Sparky is no longer free to roam Dr. G.’s home anymore. Sorry, little guy, "trick me once"...

The process we use to clean urine stains and remove urine odors:

To properly clean, sanitize and remove the urine odor out of Dr.G's area rugs, we took each rug individually and…

1. Knowing we first we needed to dissolve the uric acids that are found in urine, we did so with a special cleaning agent.

2. Next we treated the entire rug with our awesome odor neutralizer.

3. We then brought out our famous Tony’s Best Way rug cleaner and applied it to the rug. This loosens soils, removes visible spots and sets the rug up for our unique cleaning process, Health plus Clean.

4. Our Clean plus Health method is then employed. This method cleans and sanitizes rugs from the
bottom up. (Instead of traditional rug cleaning methods that either wear out valuable rugs in washing machines, or use high pressure water and soaps that force all soils and spots including urine down deep into the rug and then try to extract the whole mess with varying success.)

5. If the urine damage was extensive, sorry for the plain speech, the urine will return to its liquid state and collect again. Upon seeing this, we buckle down and fight back, repeatedly treating the area until the urine is dissolved and the odor is neutralized.

6. Finally, if appropriate,  we would then apply an enzyme treatment to the problem area to make sure we have done all we can to remove or greatly improve the offending urine odor.
